There is a marathon in Marrakech this next Sunday; am going in to observe as I'm pretty sure they don't allow walkers, and am going to get a hotel room with heat and a bathtub. Wow...luxurious living coming right up!
These are my travel experiences beginning with my Peace Corps service in Morocco from 2006-2008. At the request of friends and my own desire to document, I continued blogging my journeys to other countries as well as in the U. S., including my service as a Peace Corps Response Volunteer in South Africa for most of 2014. This blog will continue as my travel journal.
The Big Sky country of Montana is home sweet home!

Connie, God willing my family will be coming to Morocco this summer.
I have found the Peace Corps Morocco "Moroccan Arabic" pdf book online. Which is the best I've seen
anywhere. Do Peace Corps have an
audio source that goes with that book? It would be nice to know if your saying the words correctly.
John and Patty here from Mayflower UCC - it is good to read about your daily deeds - the 12 mile walk sounds great - now there's a commitment to keeping the world green - I bet Patty would love to see the Marathon in Kech - she was in the Portland many years ago and also the Twin Cities in Minneapolis.
Stay safe and WARM !!
