Connie in Morocco and Beyond

These are my travel experiences beginning with my Peace Corps service in Morocco from 2006-2008. At the request of friends and my own desire to document, I continued blogging my journeys to other countries as well as in the U. S., including my service as a Peace Corps Response Volunteer in South Africa for most of 2014. This blog will continue as my travel journal.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG...and summer is just around the corner. Is a very comfortable 74 degrees in my house right now, Sunday afternoon at 5:00. I've evolved from sleeping with two heavy blankets over 3 layers of fleece to one blanket and just regular one layer of normal sleeping attire. Nice.

No sooner than got my apartment totally clean than a big dirt storm hit, so guess I'll get to the new layer grime eventually. Wind also knocked power out for a couple of hours, and water has been off four about 4 hours.

Walked over to a friend's house last Friday and was struck by the difference in wheat crops on opposite sides of the road, as displayed here.
